Master Classes on the English Springer Spaniel:
A number of long time fancier and breeders have come together to offer a series of M aster Classes discussing all aspects of our beloved breed. Each class will focus on a piece and part of the dog so we can all better understand what makes a Springer a Springer.
We kick off the series at the Willamette Valley ESSA Specialty with an introductory class after judging.
The second class in the series will be Saturday, the day after the Psessa Specialty, this class will concentrate on heads, topline, rears and fronts.
Several California Specialty Clubs plan to offer Master Classes this fall and next year. We will update topics as we discover where the need and interest dictates
The classes will be moderated, and microphones will be available so everyone can hear. We are hoping to also podcast on FB.
Presenters thus far include: Lynda O’Connor, Linda Riedel, Tony Vasquez, Cherrie Spring, Gary Zayac, Julie Kay, Carol Callahan. All of these presenters are a huge asset to the breed and the sport.
Locations: each class with be at the show site.
WVESSA’s will be after breed and lunch on Friday, June 22 in Canby, OR.
The Washington site will be in Enumclaw August 18, after Sporting Group in the Springer designated RV area.
